Find answers about GoBusTrip searches, fares, bookings and support.

How do I search for a bus?: Choose your origin, destination, travel date and number of passengers on the homepage, then press Search buses. If no bookable departures exist yet for that route, we say so plainly and point you to the operator directory.
How are prices worked out?: Where a fare is shown, it comes from a published source and the source and last-checked date appear beside it. The Bus Operator confirms the final fare before travel. Any booking charge added by GBT is shown clearly before payment.
When is my booking confirmed?: A booking is only confirmed once payment has completed and a valid operator ticket has been issued. A pending payment is not a ticket and is not valid for travel.
How do I receive my ticket?: Once a paid booking is confirmed, your confirmation shows the journey details and booking reference. Keep the reference safe — you will need it to manage your booking.
How do I board the bus?: Use the boarding point, check-in time and ticket format on your valid operator confirmation. Arrive early enough to check in before departure.
Who is responsible for my journey?: The Bus Operator named on your ticket operates the journey. GBT connects you with operators and handles the booking process; the operator's conditions apply to the trip itself.
Can I cancel or change my trip?: Each Bus Operator sets its own conditions. See the changes and cancellations guide for what to prepare and how a request is assessed.
How do refunds work?: Eligibility is assessed under the operator and booking provider conditions, then an approved refund is reversed by the payment provider. See the refund guide for the full process.
How is my personal information handled?: We collect only what is needed for the booking you make. Card details are entered on the payment provider's secure page and are not stored by GoBusTrip. See the privacy page for more.
